Ages ago, void creatures crossed over onto our plane of existence and a crystal was placed in the forest that anchored them to Norrath. As fate would have it, this crystal would be abducted by bandits who shattered it into pieces, selling them off for profit. Little did they know that these void fragments were worth more than mere gold. These void crystal fragments are so statured with evil, that a cunning mind can easily use them to manipulate and completely control weak-minded creatures.
