This quest is triggered by examining Dried Clump of Mulch. This item is sometimes found in chests that drop off of monsters in Zek.

Upon initiating this quest you must do the following:

First must go and touch the Druid Ring.
Next you must kill 30 scorched trunklords.
Finally you must return to and walk to the center of the Druid Ringfor your reward, Necklace of the Winter Seed.
