While investigating the terrifying Shard of Fear, I found a pair of Gnomish goggles that allow me to see and speak with the tortured souls of adventurers that are trapped in the shard, as well as a journal written by the deceased gnomish inventor.
We defeated Terror, one of Cazic Thule's aspects of fear; though the beast made it sound as if we may have been unknowingly helping Cazic Thule by causing fear ourselves!
Ernie Gimblelock saw some sort of ritual sacrifice being performed by the lizardmen on the dais at the Amygdalan wells.
