Buy Rumdum drinks in East Freeport, recover four stein pieces from ogre ghosts in the Feerrott, slay Clurg for the Blood Ruby, and craft the Stein of Moggok.
How to start
Speak to Rumdum in East Freeport. He does not give up the quest easily — buy him 4 drinks at 4 silver each to loosen his tongue.

Notes & prerequisites
- Adventure level 35+ required to start.
- Adventure level 40 (Heroic difficulty).
- Artisan crafting level 9+ to scribe Clurg's Family Stein Recipe, or commission the craft from another player.
- Required for the Illusionist Epic Weapon Timeline.
Steps
1. Collect the four broken stein pieces
Slay four ogre ghost bouncers in the Feerrott to recover the left-half, right-half, handle, and lid of the stein.
- Flerb is along the path south from the docks near the Rallosian Mage Shrine.
- Fug is east of Murdunk's Fall among the thule sattars.
- Hurd wanders the southwest of the zone near Cythan.
- Prud spawns near Golgoth Bridge and runs northeast toward Alliz Tae Outpost.
- Alternative: pray at the Shrine of Rallos Zek in The Eidolon Jungle to spawn all four bouncers at once.

2. Return to Rumdum for the Blood Ruby
Return to Rumdum — he tells you the stein needs the Blood Ruby to be rebuilt.

3. Slay Clurg the Bartender
Return to the Feerrott and kill Clurg the Bartender. Swim to the bottom of the pond to spawn him.

4. Buy the recipe from Rumdum
Return to Rumdum and buy the craft recipe for 4 silver. You receive The Blood Ruby, The Four Parts of the Stein of Moggok, and Clurg's Family Stein Recipe.
- Scribe the recipe if you are at least artisan level 9.

5. Craft the Stein of Moggok
Craft the Stein at a Work Bench using the level 9 artificing recipe.
- Requires the two components from Rumdum, one glimmering material (semi-rare harvestable), and one Basic Coal for fuel.
- Another player who has already completed the quest can craft it as a consignment if you lack the recipe.

Tips
- Budget 8 silver total for Rumdum — 4 drinks to start and 4 silver for the recipe.
- The Eidolon Jungle shrine alternative spawns all four bouncers together but they may be very tough.
- This quest is part of the Feerrott Timeline and the Illusionist Epic.

I learned of an old item that was last seen in the Age of Turmoil while talking to Rumdum Clurg in the Seafarer's Roost. I think I'll travel to the Feerrott and see what I can turn up concerning the Stein of Moggok.
