Walkthrough
Complete six trials in Grozmag's Trial, then defeat Emperor Fyst in Deathfist Citadel to earn a Shiny Brass Shield or Bauble.
How to start
Speak with Grozmag the Trainer across from the Deathfist Mine in Zek. All trials except the last take place in the Grozmag's Trial instance at the bottom of the Deathfist Quarry.

- Adventure level 40+ (Heroic difficulty).
- Bring a group for Grozmag's Trial and Deathfist Citadel.
Steps
1. Grozmag's First Trial
Kill a single Zek berserker, then return to Grozmag.
- Respond with the 2nd choice: You are exhilarated. Any other response resets the quest.

2. Grozmag's Second Trial
Kill a mixture of Zek berserkers, Zek dark knights, and Zek defilers, then return to Grozmag.
- Respond with the 2nd choice: They performed poorly. Wrong answers may reset the quest.

3. Grozmag's Third Trial
Kill a Zek pummeler and a Zek warrior, then return to Grozmag.

4. Grozmag's Fourth Trial
Kill a mixture of Zek war wolves and Zek destroyers, then return to Grozmag.

5. Grozmag's Fifth Trial
Kill a Zek defiler, a Zek berserker, and a Zek war wolf, then return to Grozmag.

6. Grozmag's Sixth Trial
Kill Grozmag's Champion, a Zek inquisitor, and two Zek war wolves, then return to Grozmag.
- Respond: You will do his bidding.

7. Kill Emperor Fyst
Enter Deathfist Citadel and kill the named lieutenants to spawn Emperor Fyst on the Emperor's Terrace.
- Kill Chief Torturer Goortz, High Priest Kuzbak, Alchemist Yallessul, Arena Champion Kraz'k, Prince Gluntok, and Prince Valtoris before Fyst appears.
- Emperor Fyst is also the final step of The Rescue of the Green Hoods — consider doing both together.

8. Return for your reward
Return to Grozmag the Trainer to complete the quest and choose your Shiny Brass Shield or Shiny Brass Bauble reward.

- Wrong dialogue choices on trials 1, 2, and 6 can reset progress — pick the responses listed above.
- Plan for six instance runs to Grozmag's Trial plus one Deathfist Citadel visit.

Quest Text
An orcish trainer named Grozmag has demanded I prove my worth, and he will train me in battle. It's likely a series of trials or tests that I will have to accomplish. Orcs are very linear thinkers.
Completion
Your efforts to both prove yourself to Grozmag and to slay the Emperor have resulted in a temporary halt of the orcs' plans for expansion into the lands of the more civilized races.
Stages
- Stage 1
Seek out the entrance to the trial deep in the mines of the Orcish Wastes and complete your trial.
Complete Grozmag's first trial.
Done: You have completed Grozmag's first trial.
You have completed the first trial.
- Stage 2
Speak once more to Grozmag the Trainer.
Speak to Grozmag.

- Stage 3
Seek out the entrance to the trial deep in the mines of the Orcish Wastes and complete your trial.
Complete Grozmag's second trial.
