Use the Coldain Chipper on six ice eggs across the Ring War Battlefield in Great Divide, defeating a level 90^^^ giant at each one.

How to start

Examine the reward from the Obsidian Coldain Insignia Ring quest to begin.

Notes & prerequisites

Must have completed Obsidian Coldain Insignia Ring and carry the Obsidian ring and Coldain Chipper.
Adventure level 90 (Heroic difficulty).
Coldain Insignia Ring chain: Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Obsidian → Mithril → Adamantium → Velium.
Bring a sturdy tank and good heals — giants hit hard and are CC-immune.

Steps

1. Click ice egg 1 and kill the giant
Take the chipper to the Ring War Battlefield. Click an ice egg-like object to spawn a level 90^^^ giant. After it dies, click the ice again immediately for your update.
- Click the ice immediately after the giant dies or it resets.
- With careful timing the entire group can get the update from one click.

2. Click ice egg 2 and kill the giant
Click the second ice egg, kill the giant, and click the ice again.

Click the sixth and final ice egg, kill the giant, and click the ice again.

7. Return to Malidain Glacierbane
Return to Malidain Glacierbane, who completes the quest and moves to the Throne of the Dains in Thurgadin.

Tips

Coldain Insignia Ring chain: Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Obsidian → Mithril → Adamantium → Velium.
Giants have AE knockback, stifling detrimentals, and are CC-immune — knockdown and interrupts help.
All six ice eggs must be done — there are exactly six clickable objects on the battlefield.
