Obtaining your Apprentice Epic Spell

   Now that character and any of your alts can speak to Merchant Fiza Tazi in Raj'Dur Plateaus at and turn in sets of the following fertilizer items. Repeat until you receive your class' Manaspark Lotus Flower:

You will need to obtain your mythical update drop. These are a rare drop from one of two instances. Traveling Researchers

After getting your dropped mythical quest update, on inspecting the item it tells you to find one of four Traveling Researchers (by archetype) in one of the three overland zones: Quest is still good, Balkot spawned at 12:01 AM Central Standard Time on 16-Feb-2023. Update: 10:01 AM Central Standard Time, 20 Jan 2026, Angrus Silentfang spawned on Maj'Dul.

   It appears that each researcher spawns on a 22-hour cycle. A given researcher is up for 1 hour and down for 21 hours; if the spawn time is due during a patch or immediately after it will most likely skip a spawn.

Obtaining your Ancient Epic Spell

The Ancient epic spell upgrade is rewarded by completing two specific Renewal of Ro raid targets, according to your archetype/class. The first target is a T2 raid boss in either Raj'Dur Plateaus: The Hunt (Raid) or Sandstone Delta: The Standing Storm (Raid). The second target is a T3 raid boss in Takish Badlands: The Boundless Gulf (Raid). However, neither target is a guaranteed update. The update is a random chance based on how often you cast your epic spell during the fight. The chance starts at 50% can be increased up to 100%. Obtaining your Celestial Epic Spell

The Celestial epic spell upgrade requires 2 updates. The first is from one of the mobs in Sultan's Dagger and it must be done first. The second is from defeating Aldys, Sultan of the Daggers, the final raid boss of the expansion.
