Merc issues NOT fixed 8/15

Issue: Mercenary contract: Draksis Splitscale. Signed contract that I gained the day before from the researcher in Sodden (I don't recall the time, just that it was late in the day).
I received the following message:
(Narrative) "You have unlockedMercenary: Draksis Splitscale for hire!
(Narrative) "You may now hire Draksis Splitscalae from somewhere within the Western Wastes!
(Narrative) "You pay 0 Copper to hire this mercenary.
(Narrative) "Your mercenary has resigned because they do not have a valid contact with you.
(Error Text) "The merc has been successfully removed.

Just like Baizle with Mercenary contract: Geb that I posted in the previous mercenary bug thread, this one poofed. Both Geb and Draksis have been researched and lost. I'm very hesitant about researching more until this issue has been resolved.

Please let us know what we can expect. Something like: "We are aware this issue has not been resolved, we are currently working to resolve it, we will post an update in XX days time, and what the resolution will be for those of us who've lost mercs.

Thank you
