Walkthrough
Follow Santii's visions through three spirits across Norrath — Fens of Nathsar, Eastern Wastes, and Butcherblock — then confront Santii in Cobalt Scar for the Cloak of Crystalline Waters.
How to start
Zone into Siren's Grotto: Alluring Embrace (Advanced Solo or Heroic) from Cobalt Scar. At the zone entry, right-click the sparkling effect in the water under the second waterfall on the right and page through the dialog to start the quest.

Notes & prerequisites
- Adventure level 100 (Heroic difficulty).
- Kill the first named in Siren's Grotto (Shyneera) to reach Santii — updates can be obtained in an empty zone.
- Flying mount required for the Spirit of Ice step in Eastern Wastes.
- Water breathing helps in Veksar and many water sections (Aqueous Globe DoT).
Steps
1. Speak with Santii
Find Santii under a waterfall and listen to her visions.

2. Spirit of Mists — Fens of Nathsar
Find the first spirit, a Spirit of Mists, who speaks of a great lake and jungle.

3. Stop the lake's children
Stop the two lake's children desecrating the waters, then return to the Spirit of Mists.
- If the Bloodgill aquamancer is not up, clear Bloodgill adherents first.

4. Speak with Daleen Blackwood
Speak to Daleen Blackwood, then enter the special Veksar instance.

5. Disrupt the rituals in Veksar
Kill the ritual leaders inside the special Veksar instance.
- Most mobs cast Aqueous Globe — a fast-ticking high-damage DoT preventable with water breathing.

6. Return to Daleen and Spirit of Mists
Return to Daleen Blackwood, then back to the Spirit of Mists.

7. Spirit of Ice — Eastern Wastes
Find the second spirit, a Spirit of Ice, on a cliff top. You must have a flying mount — there is no other way to reach it.
- Long respawn timer on this spirit — plan accordingly.

8. Help Fintin and the distressed elementals
Find the othmir Fintin, then the distressed elementals ring event.
- Ring event includes 3 agitated water sylphs, 3 agitated ice sylphs, and a furious water sylph.

9. Eliminate the Portal of Fear
Speak with Water's Rage, destroy the Tavalans and Portal of Fear, then return to Water's Rage and the Spirit of Ice.
- You may need to kill guards and the portal three or four times before the quest updates.
- Known bug: if the quest updates for you, enemies and the portal vanish and groupmates without the update cannot get credit.

10. Spirit of the Deep — Butcherblock Mountains
Find the third spirit, a Spirit of the Deep, on the beach at the base of the cliffs.

11. Collect eight underwater artifacts
Locate eight glowing artifact clickies in the water, each protected by a Tavalan archeologist. Return to the Spirit of the Deep when done.
- Tracking ability or a scroll of tracking is invaluable.
- Bug: taking the 8th artifact before the 8th mob dies can leave combat against an invisible enemy.

12. Stop the Tavalan ritualists
Kill four Tavalan ritualists in the Tidesylph cave side chamber, then speak to the four chained echoes to free them.
- Ritualists are ungrouped and not very social — wait a few minutes if they are not up.

13. Return to Spirit of the Deep
Return to the Spirit of the Deep for the final update before heading back to Cobalt Scar.

14. Confront Santii and claim your reward
Return to Santii in Cobalt Scar. She attacks after you speak to her — defeat her and loot the chest for your cloak.
- Designed as a group encounter — beware knockbacks and mezzes.
- Clinging Mist mana drain is the most dangerous part of the fight.
- Loot the chest for your Cloak of Crystalline Waters — if you forget, you must kill Santii again.

Tips
- Bring water breathing for Veksar and much of the water content.
- The Eastern Wastes Spirit of Ice requires a flying mount with no workaround.
- Plan for three major zone arcs: Fens of Nathsar, Eastern Wastes, and Butcherblock Mountains.
- Group up for the final Santii fight in Cobalt Scar.

Quest Text
A mysterious spirit of the water has pleaded with me to restore the "breaking of the waves." I'm very unsure of what this might mean, but I've agreed to help it and to find some answers. The first step on this path is a siren named Santii.
Completion
What a long journey that was. I met three spirits during my travels throughout Norrath. The first was the Spirit of Mist, sad and lonely in the Fens of Nasthar. The second was the Spirit of Ice in the chill of the Eastern Wastes. She was strong and fearsome. The third I found in Butcherblock Mountains - he bore the brunt of years and had seen things I can only imagine. The Tavalan showed up several times - their connection to the water is strong, and I worry what this may mean for Norrath. In the end I took the spirits' essence to Santii, so that she could finish the artifact in her possession. After handing the essences over, she showed her true colors and tried to enslave me. It seems though, that the joke was on her - the spirits meant for me to own the Cloak, and her machinations failed as she fell to my blade. The Cloak of Crystalline Waters is now mine, and I can only wonder where those spirits are now.

Find the siren, Santii
Santii spoke of three visions, three spirits who call out to her to restore a broken artifact. The water spirit was right, and it seems I've found the path.

I need to find the first spirit of water that Santii spoke of. She sits near a great lake, within a vast jungle, under the shadow of a giant pillar.

The Lake of Ill Omen is dying, and it seems that the children of the lake are responsible. I need to find these 'children' and kill them, before the lake itself dies and takes all its children with it.
