- Whittier: "Now that my brethren within the grove are no longer suffering from disease, they will be more willing to come to Kelethin's aid."
- Player Character: "I would think so, too."
- Whittier: "But it will take time for them to confer, and I fear Kelethin cannot wait any longer. Will you help extinguish the fires and remove the orcs from the roots of the city, [Player Character]?"
- Player Character: "Now you're talking!"
The Crushbone orcs beneath Kelethin must be slain and their fires extinguished in order to save the city. Extinguish the fires. Slay Crushbone arsonists and destroyers.
I have extinguished the fires threatening Kelethin and slew many Crushbone orcs. I should return to Whittier, the treant back at Green Knoll. Speak with Whittier.
- Whittier: "I no longer see flames threatening Joleena's Restaurant! You put out the flames, [Player Character]!"
- Player Character: "I did. Those orcs didn't stand a chance."
- Whittier: "You have the strength of a mighty oak, my friend! Once more, I must thank you for all that you have done."
- Player Character: "I find it rewarding."
- Whittier: "Ah, and your actions reward all of Faydark. My treant brethren saw the sun because of you! They can be stubborn and slow to act, but they are very honorable. They know you saved them by applying the healing elixir to them."
I spoke with Whittier. I spoke with Whittier and told him of my success.
Whittier, a treant at Green Knoll, was relieved to no longer see flames threatening Kelethin, and to hear of my success battling the Crushbone orcs.
