Walkthrough
Follow Brother Lasca's guidance to defeat four turtle spirits across Norrath, then confront a resentful spirit and Alvik the Cold in Tower of Frozen Shadow for the Lodizal Shell Shield heritage reward.
How to start
Speak to Osh in Fina's Retreat in the Great Divide. You must first finish all Fina's Retreat quests through The End of an Era and receive mail to be offered this heritage quest.

- Adventure level 90+ required.
- Complete Returning to Osh and the full Fina's Retreat questline through The End of an Era.
- Heroic difficulty — four turtle spirit encounters and Tower of Frozen Shadow.
- Lasca's Beacon is used to contact Brother Lasca between turtle steps.
Steps
1. Speak with Brother Cato
Speak with Brother Cato near the Tears of Jade Spring.

2. Speak with Brother Lasca
Find Brother Lasca on the bottom floor of Edgewater Drains.
- From Freeport: enter The Thieves' Way, then The Serpent Sewer at 24, 1, 61, then Edgewater Drains at -243, 1, 11.
- Commonlands sewer entrance works for good-aligned players.

3. Defeat Nimbus, the air turtle spirit
Click the floating turtle near the Hidden Refuge to zone into the Realm of the Air Turtle, then defeat Nimbus.
- Nimbus is a level 90^ ghost turtle swimming in the pond under the waterfalls.

4. Defeat Delmar, the water turtle spirit
Use Lasca's Beacon, then click the floating turtle near the Trembling Lagoon entrance.
- The zone exit is on the island after defeating Delmar.

5. Defeat Festus, the earth turtle spirit
Use Lasca's Beacon, then click the floating turtle behind the waterfalls near The Hidden Grotto.

6. Defeat Neci, the fire turtle spirit
Use Lasca's Beacon, then click the floating turtle near The Twin Tears.

7. Return to Osh
Use Lasca's Beacon one last time, then return to Osh at Fina's Retreat under the tent to the right as you zone in.

8. Speak to a resentful spirit
Enter Tower of Frozen Shadow: Shadowed Corridors and speak to a resentful spirit on the second floor (the frozen library via the mirror).
- You can use a cleared instance for this step, but you will still need to reset and re-enter for the next stage.

9. Kill Alvik the Cold
Kill Alvik the Cold on the third floor.

10. Return to Osh for your reward
Return to Osh to receive the Lodizal Shell Shield and The Legendary Lodizal Shell Shield.

Tips
- Keep Lasca's Beacon handy — you must contact Brother Lasca after each turtle spirit.
- The four turtle clickables are in Tenebrous Tangle, Feerrott, Lesser Faydark, and Sinking Sands.
- Tower of Frozen Shadow requires two separate visits — one for the resentful spirit, one for Alvik the Cold.
