I found a large, empty pot in the Incantatory Apex encampment, which piqued my curiosity. It turns out that Naisha Vallinasis, assistant to Damion Trebatius, brought the pot from Cardin Ward to hold soil from around the spires for study. As it's quite dangerous around the spires, however, she's asked me to help her with her project.
I was able to help Naisha Vallinasis complete her experiments on the soil around the spires.
Naisha would like me to gather soil from around the teleportation spire and add them to the pot.

Add soil to the pot in camp

I returned to Naisha with the soil samples.
Naisha would like me to gather some obol dreadleaf seeds and plant them in the soil within the magic pot.

Return to camp to plant the seeds

The first half of Naisha's experiment is complete!
Naisha would now like me to gather some obol shambler seeds and plant them in the pot.
Obtain obol shambler seeds
Done: This should be enough seeds.
Plant the shambler seeds in the pot
Done: The shambler seeds have been planted.
Speak to Naisha
Done: Something's growing from the pot!
Defeat the shambler
I planted the shambler seeds and was able to defeat one that grew from the pot!
I should speak to Naisha about what just transpired.
Speak to Naisha
I have spoken to Naisha.
