I have decided to assist the stormwing back to health. I should be able to find a few herbs around the swamp that will help the stormwing regain its strength. I should bring the herbs I find back to the stormwing, and see if I'm able to help it survive its wounds.
Unfortunately, I was not able to save the stormwing, and it perished before the herbs could help it. A young stormwing saw my act of kindness, however, and seems to want to follow me. It seems I've found myself a small stormwing pet.
I need to collect healing herbs from around the Tears of Tunare, and return them to the stormwing.
