Steps

1. Kill Gnawbone in the larder
Captain Boshinko asks you to kill a 'rat' in the larder — actually the named hell-hound Gnawbone.
- Watch for red script messages during the fight — when the hell-hound is about to regurgitate, get behind crates or a counter and crouch (default Z). Failing to crouch in time is a one-shot death.

2. Return to Captain Boshinko
Return to Captain Boshinko after killing Gnawbone.

3. Kill Horrot the Horrific
Kill the guard in the shadows — Horrot the Horrific — then return to Captain Boshinko.

4. Kill the Committee investigators
Kill Ryvast, Trysk, and Nymeer before they finish investigating Captain Boshinko.

5. Destroy evidence pages
Destroy 12 clicky evidence pages on the floor of the Sanctum of the Shadowmancers (Globe room), on the stairs leading to the Bloodpack Hunting Grounds, and throughout that lower room.

6. Return to Captain Boshinko
Return to Captain Boshinko after destroying the evidence.

7. Place evidence in Higginsbot's jail cell
Kill an undead warden in the lower regions to loot a skeleton key (LORE TEMPORARY — despawns on use, zone, or camp). Use it to enter the jail and place the evidence in Higginsbot's old cell — the same cell Bigs the Big sends you to in High Keep: The Pickclaw Depths.
- Track is useful for finding the undead warden.
- The jail door is at the bottom of the stairs on the right when descending from the Casino area into the tunnels.

8. Complete the quest
Return to Captain Boshinko to finish and pick up Dereliction of Duty.

Tips

You will need skeleton keys repeatedly in this timeline — plan to kill undead wardens each time you need jail access.
The Gnawbone fight requires actual crouching, not sitting, when the regurgitate warning appears.
