Veasna sent me mail, including the first of several gifts - a bracer. In talking with him, he revealed that some items have latent potential, bestowed upon it by the ideal form imposed by its creator. Dragon-kind have mastered the secrets that can unlock this potential, and Veasna is going to teach me how to use them.
I now know the secrets to unlocking the potential of any items that can be upgraded. Simply use the appropriate gemstone on an item with that potential, and that's it. I can talk to Delvakin in Falinpol to buy them directly, or employ the use of an artisan to create them.
To upgrade my bracers, I need to use my First Yellow Gemstone on it. It must be attuned or No-Trade, and unequipped.
Use the First Yellow Gemstone on the bracers
Done: I have upgraded my item!
Return to Veasna
My bracers have been upgraded, and Veasna is pleased!
To upgrade my bracers again, I need to use my Second Yellow Gemstone on it. It must be attuned or No-Trade, and unequipped.
Use my Second Yellow Gemstone on the upgraded bracers
Done: I have upgraded my item!
Return to Veasna
I have upgraded my bracers to their second stage. Again, Veasna is pleased.
To perform the final upgrade of my bracers, I need to use my Third Yellow Gemstone on it. It must be attuned or No-Trade, and unequipped.
Use the Third Yellow Gemstone on the upgraded bracers
Done: I have upgraded my item a final time.
Return to Veasna
And so, I've learned how to use the gem upgraders to unlock the potential of my items!
