Speak to Seren Leafsway in the relocated Spire Shadow Outpost

Journal Steps and Dialogue

Whittier: "Are you looking to explore more of the Faydark, [Player Character]?"
Player Character: "I am."
Whittier: "I thought so. I didn't expect you to plant your roots here for too long. Would you mind taking this blessed acorn to my friend, Seren Leafsway?"
Player Character: "Not at all."
Whittier: "She's east of here, at Spire Shadow Outpost, planted next to Lower Emerald River."
Player Character: "I'll find her."

Speak with Seren Leafsway.

Seren Leafsway: "Watch yourself around here, traveler. There are ravenous beasts about!"
Player Character: "That's why Whittier sent me. He wanted you to have this blessed acorn."
Seren Leafsway: "Ha, ha, ha, ha! Thank you, [Player Character], but I think my treant friend misled you."
Player Character: "What do you mean?"
Seren Leafsway: "Oh, do not be cross with him. He wears his heart on his bark, to be certain. He is always trying to help others and keep watch over us."
Player Character: "Why did he send me though?"
Seren Leafsway: "You must have helped him a great deal, performed a great service, perhaps?"
Player Character: "I helped him stop the orcs from burning Kelethin."
Seren Leafsway: "That is precisely why he sent you. He thought you could help me."

I have spoken with Seren Leafsway.

Seren Leafsway was surprised by the blessed acorn I gave her and explained how Whittier was not being straight forward with me. The acorn was simply an excuse to send me to her. He must have thought I would want to help her once I learned of the situation at Spire Shadow Outpost.
