I found a pair of centaurs in the holding cells of the Varsoon Ruins. The female, Thana, promised to tell me of a great treasure that the centaurs knew about if I could get them out. She said the cells are magically sealed and I'd need to get the keys from the skeleton jailors.
I was able to free Thana and Grayl from their prison cells within the Ruins of Varsoon. They directed me to talk to their chieftain, Kraughl, in the Thundering Steppes about the shipwrecked treasure.
