Begin the Coldain Insignia Ring heritage chain on the Ring War Battlefield in Great Divide by examining an ice-encased corpse and defeating five spawned dervishes.

Notes & prerequisites
- Adventure level 90 (Solo difficulty).
- First quest in the Coldain Insignia Ring chain: Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Obsidian → Mithril → Adamantium → Velium.
- Keep every ring reward — you must have the previous ring on you for later quest updates.
Steps
1. Kill the first dervish
After examining the corpse, a dervish spawns. Kill it.

2. Kill the second dervish
Examine the corpse again to spawn and kill another dervish.

3. Kill the third dervish
Examine the corpse again to spawn and kill another dervish.

4. Kill the fourth dervish
Examine the corpse again to spawn and kill another dervish.

5. Kill the fifth dervish
Examine the corpse a fifth time to spawn and kill the final dervish and complete the quest.

Tips
- Coldain Insignia Ring chain: Copper → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Obsidian → Mithril → Adamantium → Velium.
- Never destroy or sell ring rewards — the quest giver will not update without the previous ring in your inventory.
- If you lose a ring, buy a replacement for 0 copper from the Shady Swashbuckler on the Nek Dock.
- Next quest: Silver Coldain Insignia Ring.

Quest Text
While exploring the excavated Ring War battlefield, I found a dwarf who is encased in a block of ice. His arm is outstretched, extending outside the ice that surrounds his frozen body. He has a copper insignia ring on his hand. It might be possible to recover the ring.
Completion
I acquired a ring from a dwarf in the Great Divide who was frozen in a block of ice. According to the runes inscribed on the band, the ring belonged to someone named Garadain Glacierbane.
Stages
- Stage 1
The ring is stuck, and I am continually attacked by nearby dervishes while trying to loosen it.
Remove the ring from the frozen dwarf's hand.
