Walkthrough
Assault Besieged Freeport Docks, seal the gates, sow confusion among the defenders, and slay Dreadnaught Blackengrit to earn the Greenmist heritage weapon.
How to start
Speak to Xuurk in Lost Temple of Cabilis after completing The Path of Fear.

- Must have completed The Path of Fear.
- Adventure level 80 (Heroic difficulty).
- Part of the Greenmist heritage timeline — rewards Greenmist and leads into The White Dragonscale Cloak.
Steps
1. Enter Besieged Freeport Docks
Travel to the shores north of the Field of Bone (Dragon's Rest sokokar post is closest) and click the bell to zone into Besieged Freeport Docks — a special instance of pre-LU62 East Freeport.

2. Kill 10 Freeport defenders
Kill 10 Freeport defenders (level 78^) inside the instance.
- Zoning out and back in resets the instance.
- Keep your group close — distant members may not receive updates for clickable tasks.

3. Heal 6 wounded crusaders
Heal 6 wounded crusader NPCs using an iksar healing tonic from a crate on the dock next to Xuurk.

4. Speak to Xuurk in the instance
Speak to Xuurk on the dock after healing the crusaders.

5. Seal the North Freeport gate
Move the four barrels up against the North Freeport gate.

6. Seal the West Freeport gate
Move the pile of refuse in front of the West Freeport gate.

7. Seal the South Freeport gate
Move the cart in front of the South Freeport gate.

8. Speak to Quartermaster Hedoral
Speak to Quartermaster Hedoral on the dock.

9. Destroy 5 powderkegs
Destroy 5 powderkegs around the upper plaza. Attack to ignite each one.
- If you zone out before blowing up the barrels, speak to the Quartermaster again to respawn them.

10. Destroy 5 supply stockpiles
Destroy 5 supply stockpiles on the southern dock.

11. Speak to 5 confused iksar citizens
Find and speak to 5 confused iksar citizens scattered around the instance.

12. Return to Xuurk in the instance
Return to Xuurk on the dock.

13. Kill Dreadnaught Blackengrit
Kill Dreadnaught Blackengrit (80^^^). He hits hard, is immune to root/mez/stun, but has little HP.
- If he was already up when you reach this step, he despawns and respawns on the hill road, then paths back to the dock.

14. Use the exit bell
Use the bell near the ship to zone back out to the Fens near the Lost Temple. Fast Travel will NOT update the quest — you must use the bell.

15. Return to Xuurk for Greenmist
Return to Xuurk in the Lost Temple of Cabilis to receive the Greenmist heritage weapon.

Tips
- Greenmist chain order: The Name of Fear → The Word of Fear → The Call of Fear → The Path of Fear → The Triumph of Fear.
- This quest rewards Greenmist — the heritage reward for the Fear series.
- Zoning out resets Besieged Freeport Docks; keep the group together for clickable-object updates.
- Completing this quest unlocks The White Dragonscale Cloak heritage quest.

Quest Text
Xuurk is going to spread the message of fear, and do so in a big way -- he means to attack the docks of Freeport itself! As my final act of service, I have been drafted into the army of Cazic-Thule, and am under Xuurk's command. We go to spread fear within the city, to prove to Cazic-Thule that the iksar are still capable of obeying his word and carrying out his will.
Completion
It seems Xuurk's plan was a success. In a vision, Cazic-Thule indicated that he was pleased with our actions, and will no longer release the Greenmist to eradicate the iksar. However, he warns that the iksar must return to his service, or risk destruction again. However, my part in this is complete, and as a reward for my service, I have been given the Greenmist -- a legendary iksar sword that shares its name with Cazic-Thule's deadly weapon.
Stages
- Stage 1(3 objectives)
I must travel to East Freeport and begin the attack.
I must leave the lost temple of Cazic-Thule, and travel with Xuurk's army to Freeport.

Some of our troopers are wounded! I must run supplies to them so that they can continue the battle. I should retrieve a healing tonic from the crate near the ship, and apply it to the injured iksar.
