I finally earned the trust of Nisch Mal Polphar, the leader of the refugee gnolls, but it comes as bittersweet news as he informed me that he is sick and the wounds he sustained during their departure from Clan Splitpaw has left him in an extremely weakened state. Before it is too late Nisch Mal Polphar wants to pass on leadership of their pack to his daughter, Nisch Mas Nolphia, and asked for my assistance in gathering components for a staff which he will present to her as both a gift and a display of her status. The items he needs can be found throughout the Darkpaw Warrens.
I delivered the components to Nisch Mal Polphar and watched as he delicately crafted a staff and infused it with magic. I was invited to watch the ceremony as he presented the staff to his daughter and declared before the rest of the pack that she would now lead them as Nisch Mal Nolphia.
