I've found an odd object - some leather and chain mail embedded into a wooden plank. It appears to be a type of ceremonial shoulder decoration that has somehow become fused with the wooden plank itself. I'll need to find a way to remove the wood without destroying the armor.

Completion

With some hard work, the lessons I learned from my old teachers and a bit of luck, I've recovered a nice bit of shoulder armor that could be useful to folks who go in for this sort of thing. I've named my sartorial creation the "Deepening Barrier."

With a little effort, I believe I can extract the armor from within this wooden plank.
- Collect enough gnoll sweat glands to extract a fiber-softening substance from them.
