Starting the Quest

Brehita the Weaponbreaker may be found in either the Coliseum of Valor at or in the Services Gallery in Myrist, the Great Library

NOTE: You must be level 110

Steps

Use the Flame symbol next to Brehita the Weaponbreaker and zone into the Soulbound Chamber.
Speak to Brehita inside to receive a Soulbound Slicer.
Click on the coal bin, then click on the Soulbound Slicer in your inventory to receive a Planar Weapon Essence.
Speak to Brehita again.
Click on brazier in the center of the chamber.
1. Imbue a single essence.
2. Select the weapon (Must be a weapon from the Plane of Magic, Chaos Descending, or Blood of Luclin expansions, or your Epic 2.0!)
Speak to Brehita again.

Notes on Using the Extract Planar Essence Ability

For the purposes of this article, 'weapon' refers to equippable items that slot in Primary, Secondary, and Ranged. This includes shields, symbols, wands, etc.
Planar weapons that can be leveled are destructible, Legendary or better, and level 100-120. It also must not have the "NO-VALUE" tag. The weapon does not have to be repaired. Weapons from GU 115: Reignite the Flames or later do not have planar weapon essence to extract nor can be imbued with any essence.
The only way to obtain a planar weapon essence is by extracting it from a planar weapon.
- Planes of Prophecy weapons give a Planar Weapon Essence when converted.
- Chaos Descending weapons give a Greater Planar Weapon Essence when converted.
- Blood of Luclin weapons give an Empyral Weapon Essence when converted.
Breaking down a leveled planar weapon returns only one Planar Weapon Essence (or Greater Planar Weapon Essence, or Empyral Weapon Essence). You won't get extra, even if the weapon was leveled.
Each time the planar weapon levels up, it receives a 5% buff to base Ability Modifier, Potency, and Primary attributes (this is in the description in the weapon's Examine window).
Weapon Planar Level essence requirements (varies by item resolve):
- Planar Level 1 requires 10 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 2 requires 10 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 3 requires 25 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 4 requires 35 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 5 requires 45 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 6 requires 55 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 7 requires 65 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 8 requires 75 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 9 requires 85 Planar Weapon Essences
- Planar Level 10 requires 95 Planar Weapon Essences
- Total = 500 Planar Weapon Essences.
You can't see the weapon's Planar Level until it is level 1 or higher, at which point the Examine window will display "Planar Level 1". This means the base Planar Level of a qualifying weapon is level 0.
There is currently no way to see how much "experience" your Planar Weapon has except immediately after adding a Planar Weapon Essence essence, when the amount of experience currently and needed for the next level is displayed in your chat window.
You always have to revisit the Soulbound Chamber in order to add essences to your weapon.
