This quest is given by Logan Belchbottom after you complete the Lost Friend in Fallen Gate quest (see related quests). He now wishes to escape, and asks you to clear all of the mobs between him and the entrance.
It appears this actually is just a kill x amount of mobs in Fallen Gate quest, though the x is hidden from you. After you kill so many mobs you will receive some coin and experience.
This quest is repeatable, so you can activate it every time you go in.
