Xawon warned me that although I can now enter Vex Thal, my mortal flesh cannot naturally enter the Plane of Shadow, where Ssraeshza reigns. Thanks to his command of shadows, his people are no longer simply shissar, and the Akheva are no longer Akheva. He forces Akheva to be remade as he desires, with shissar traits and features. They are his mighty army in Vex Thal, his akhessar! This corruption of Luclin's creations is causing unrest and resistance amongst the Akheva. I hope to use this, to get Aten Ha Ra's assistance in safely entering the Plane of Shadows.
Al'Kabor was impressed with my infiltration of Vex Thal, and my seizure of Aten Ha Ra's Breath of Kaas, but he was very alarmed by all I had learned of Emperor Ssraeshza, including his reign within the Plane of Shadows, and how Aten Ha Ra felt Luclin's essence in him. Al'Kabor will alert me when he is ready to move forward with the offering to the Feral Spirit and the attack upon the Plane of Shadow. Until then, he implored me to continue nurturing my relationship with the spirits of this land. As eager as I might be to face Ssraeshza, surprising him with shadowbane weapons is something we won't be able to do twice. I'll wait for the Duality's direction before moving forward.
I should be able to use Vex Thal's grand entrance, found in the Umbral Plains, at the very southern end of Shadeweaver's Thicket.
Enter 'Vex Thal: Shadow Citadel'
I made it safely inside Vex Thal, the shissar stronghold, and gateway to the Plane of Shadows!
I must not be deterred by the might or arcane prowess of the vast army within Vex Thal. I must make my way to Aten Ha Ra, the last High Priestess of the Shadow Maiden.
Locate Aten Ha Ra within 'Vex Thal: Shadow Citadel'
Done: I found Aten Ha Ra.
Speak with Aten Ha Ra
Done: Aten Ha Ra could not be reasoned with.
Defeat Aten Ha Ra to obtain her Breath of Kaas
I found Aten Ha Ra, but unfortunately, she could not be reasoned with. Her ancient prejudices and hate blinded her, forcing us to battle. I claimed her last breath of kaas upon my victory!
I should return to Al'Kabor's projection at The Jharin Assemblage, in Shar Vahl, now that I have Aten Ha Ra's last breath of kaas.
Return to Al'Kabor's projection
Al'Kabor was impressed with my infiltration of Vex Thal, and my seizure of Aten Ha Ra's Breath of Kaas to access the Plane of Shadow.
