Examine a broken mechanical pen from Trail to the Past, clear clockworks in A Clockwork Apocalypse, investigate across Antonica, Qeynos, and Fens of Nathsar, and pick up A Gnomish Master Plan.

- Must have completed Trail to the Past.
- Adventure level 80+.
- Heroic difficulty — 80–82^^ clockworks in A Clockwork Apocalypse.
Steps
1. Click the gear in Antonica
Click the gear near The Firemyst Gully to spawn a portal. Be sure everyone in the group gets the gear-click update before anyone zones in.

2. Enter A Clockwork Apocalypse
Click the portal to enter A Clockwork Apocalypse. Portal zones the entire group.

3. Kill 10 clockworks
Kill 10 clockworks in the zone. Most are 80–82^^ heroics with some 78–80^ non-heroics. All mobs are social. Clockworks in Steamfont Mountains also update this step.
- Mobs are soloable but difficult — bring a group.

4. Talk to the time-locked enchantress
Talk to a time-locked enchantress in A Clockwork Apocalypse.

5. Speak to Sarbith Plegnog
Head to Qeynos Harbor near the bank and speak to Sarbith Plegnog.

6. Speak to Fixademic Gughlis
Head to Fens of Nathsar and talk to Fixademic Gughlis in the Drogan Exile Camp.

7. Kill 8 Nurgan goblins
Kill Nurgan goblins for 8 auto-updates. Goblins from the pass into the Nurgan Mining Camp all count. Avoid killing local Drogan goblins — they give negative Exiles of Droga faction.

8. Return to Fixademic Gughlis
Return to Fixademic Gughlis after killing the Nurgan goblins.

Return to Sarbith Plegnog in Qeynos Province District.

10. Return to the time-locked enchantress
Return to the time-locked enchantress in A Clockwork Apocalypse (mobs will have respawned). Get the follow-up quest A Gnomish Master Plan before zoning out.

Tips
- Prerequisite: complete Trail to the Past first.
- Ensure all group members click the gear in Antonica before anyone enters the portal.
- Only kill Nurgan goblins in Fens of Nathsar — Drogan goblins hurt your faction.
- Pick up A Gnomish Master Plan from the enchantress before zoning out of Clockwork Apocalypse.

Quest Text
I received a broken mechanical pen as a reward for completing an old work order. It has the name "RILCOG" written on the side of it, but nothing else that gives me any clues as to its origin. Apparently, however, it was found among some odd wreckage out in Antonica. It sounds similar to what I found out in the Moors of Ykesha, so it might be worth investigating.
Completion
To my surprise, I ended up in a frightening time where clockworks had somehow gone out of control, and had gone on a terrible offensive! In the chaos, I found a gnome enchantress fighting for her life against the clockworks. It appears that she needs the Shining Metallic Robe in order to repair the timeline to where it is supposed to be. I was able to return the Robe, but unfortunately it was too damaged to be useful. There might be another way though...

I should find a descendant of Rilgor Plegnog and see if they know what happened to the Shining Metallic Robe. It's likely that they have taken up residence in the city of Qeynos.
