I found a mysterious object in the Aurelian Coast bog area that when the illusion on the item removed appeared to be a relic from the city of Shadow Haven. I should investigate where the relic came from and why it came to rest in Aurelian Coast with illusion magic applied to it.
After finding that the city of Shadow Haven is no longer recognized as Shadow Haven and is now called Fordel Midst, named after the founders of the two greatest houses of Shadow Haven. The place now looks eerily empty. I carefully made my way to the abandoned library in hopes of finding some information to help identify the Shadow Haven relic and why it might be found in Aurelian Coast. Once there I encountered a knocked over bookshelf. There I found a recipe for some spectral goggles that allowed me to see Fordel Midst in its full fury. The place was not as empty as I once thought... I was not able to escape, but I found a pair of blacksmiths that may have some answers, if I can get them to calm down for a moment!
Enter the Shadow Haven and look for answers about the strange relic.
Enter the Fordel Midst and look for answers about the strange relic
Done: I have entered the library
Make my way to the library within Fordel Midst
Done: I have made my way to the library within Fordel Midst
Look through the scattered books for anything useful
Done: I found a recipe for spectracles and an entry into a log that describes the akheva experimenting with illusion magic. I may be able to find the components for the spectracles and use them to get out of this nasty place.
I entered the Shadow Haven, now referred to as Fordel Midst, to look for answers about the strange relic, except it wasn't Shadowhaven anymore, it was Fordel Midst and there was found to be ghosts and all manner of undead within the eerie place.
Create the spectracles at the nearby workbench within Fordel Midst, then use them to get back out of the area.
Create the spectracles at the workstations in the corner of the room from the recipes I found
Done: I have created the spectracles
Look for any sort of alternate exit from the one I entered. I should use the other recipes in the book for the spectracles to help me survive
Done: I was not able to find my way out, but I did find a pair of blacksmiths that may be able to help... If I can get them to calm down for a moment
I have created the spectracles within Fordel Midst, but I was not able to find my way out but I did find a pair of blacksmiths that may be able to help... If I can get them to calm down for a moment.
Finding these two blacksmiths locked in battle, I should try to find some sort of way to communicate with them and get some help getting out of here...
Attempt to use the Spectral Phasing Spray on the two blacksmiths
Done: I used the Spectral Phasing Spray on the two blacksmiths and it appeared to work, they are calmed down for now
Finding these two blacksmiths locked in battle, I used the Spectral Phasing Spray to calm them down and make them able to speak to me. Hopefully, they can help!
