One of the contests that Deputy Hopple is using as a fundraiser for the planned museum means I'll have to get three wild apple muffins. If I'm not up to the task I can always buy my way out of this one, but I'm betting the prize will be something useful only to a skilled provisioner. Either way, I'm guessing that the muffin on display will be sold to raise funds, while Deputy Hopple plans to gobble up the two he requested "for tasting." It's for a good cause, anyway.
As it turns out, I was the only entrant in the apple muffin event, which means I automatically won first prize. I'm sure to put Deputy Hopple's apple pie recipe to good use, but now I wonder whether Hopple's planning to eat all the apple muffins I made by himself!
