1. Travel to Forlorn Gist. You can use the Last Light Gate at .
  - Note: Once you enter Forlorn Gist, you will gain the ability to fly in Mahngavi Wastes.
2. Enter Renfry's Basement in Little Town
speak with Renfry
speak with Renfry again to ask about Representative Mairen, and receive Recipe Scroll: Forlorn Defenses
Craft some items to help with defenses.
- Note: You can use the Rickety Crafting Table at inside Renfry's Basement
- Craft 2 Forlorn Barricades
- Craft Gist Ballista
- Craft Sanctuary from Werewolves
Give Renfry the items. Wait a moment while Renfry tests the ballista.
