Hunt nightbloods across Rivervale, infiltrate the Tower of the Drafling, and uncover Rukir Pineleaf's betrayal to earn the Hierophant's Crook heritage reward.
How to start
Speak to Rukir Pineleaf in Rivervale to begin this heritage quest. He sends you on a series of tasks involving nightblood slaying, jumjum retrieval, and a confrontation with Asajj An'duuth.

Notes & prerequisites
- Adventure level 40+ required.
- Heroic difficulty — nightblood grind, Tower of the Drafling, and Rukir fight.
- The former access quest for The Tower of the Drafling is no longer required.
- Also part of the Rivervale Timeline.
Steps
1. Kill 100 nightbloods
Kill 100 nightbloods. Many are found around Grubbin's Fishing Retreat and the surrounding area.
- Consider picking up Learning About Nightbloods the Hard Way — it also requires killing many nightbloods.

2. Return to Rukir
Return to Rukir Pineleaf after killing 100 nightbloods.

3. Get a pint of jumjum
Enter The Tower of the Drafling and get a pint of jumjum from a tap inside the instance.
- Monsters in The Tower of the Drafling can see through invisibility spells.

4. Bring the jumjum to Rukir
Bring the pint of jumjum back to Rukir Pineleaf.

5. Search the Tower of the Drafling
Rukir sends you back into The Tower of the Drafling to find the Drafling. He is not there, but you get a quest update upon entering The Queen's View.

6. Report back to Rukir
Return to Rukir to inform him that the Drafling was not in his tower.

7. Kill Asajj An'duuth and her entourage
Kill Asajj An'duuth and her entourage outside Rukir's tree stump. Asajj is a 44^^^-46^^^ inquisitor that heals her encounter. Her entourage includes two wicked assassins and two corrupted attendants that also heal.

8. Deliver vegetables to Franny
Rukir sends you to deliver vegetables to Franny in the back room of the second floor of The Fools Gold. Turn around when you go through the door at the top of the stairs.
- You have six minutes to complete this step.
- This step is a group update as of a past patch.

9. Question Rukir after Franny falls ill
After the poisoned vegetables cause Franny to fall ill, go question Rukir.

10. Kill Rukir Pineleaf
Rukir turns hostile and attacks you. Kill him to complete the quest and receive the Hierophant's Crook.

Tips
- Farm nightbloods around Grubbin's Fishing Retreat for the 100-kill step.
- Bring a group for Asajj An'duuth — she and her attendants all heal.
- The vegetable delivery to Franny has a six-minute timer — plan your route in advance.

Quest Text
Rukir Pineleaf seems to want the old days back, the days of heroes and adventure. He told me the story of an ancient halfling that went off to brave a dragon, and came back with a magical crook. Strangely enough, he offered the crook to me if I can meet his expectations.
Completion
A frightening halfling, to be sure. Rukir attacked me rather than give me the crook which he promised. I suppose the disease that's been infecting the vale had finally gotten to him too.

I need to drive back the fiends that have infested the vale and collect their horns.
