A tiny note in a bottle was found washed up on the shores of the Thawed Marshes. It contained a note from a ratonga named Tru'n as well as a location for a stash of personal items within the thawed marshes. From the tone in the note, the tiny ratonga may be in some sort of trouble and I am compelled to assist in any way I can.

I assisted in collecting the belongings and sought out their owner within the Sodden Archipelago.

Unable to access the area where the stash of personal items were located, I was able to defeat the beast blocking entrance to the stashed items.
After obtaining the stashed personal items, a nearby noise compelled me to investigate.

After obtaining the stashed personal items, I ran across a trapped beast. It no longer threatens the area.
A Mandroko Chieftain appears to have stolen the scrolls out of the stash, his pet; Bucko blocks my way to him and recovering the scrolls for Tru'n.
Defeat Bucko, Loyal Pet to Maferi
Done: I have defeated Bucko, but seem to have angered his owner
Having taken some items from the hidden stash, the Chieftain attempted to guard them with his loyal pet; Bucko. I was able to turn the tables and dispose of the vicious pet opening the Chieftain to confrontation.
Defeat Chieftain Maferi and recover the scrolls he stole from Tru'n's hidden stash.
