You must catalog several creatures in Nektulos:

a Nerius fiddler - all over the beach.
a forest leaper - north part of beach.
a dusk dart - off shore near docks.
a shoreline barracuda - off shore near docks.
a shoreline shark - off shore in deeper water. or
a shadowed man - usually found near D'Morte Burial Chamber entrance ; also found far north of N'Mar's Ascent.
an immense tree snake - found near D'Morte Burial Chamber entrance.
a firelight shriller - found by the rumbleroots on the hilltops east of the Commonlands entrance.
An ash owlbear - found by the rumbleroots in the hills east of the Commonlands entrance.
A Dragoon sentry - near The Funeral Pyre.

The quest completes automatically when you catalog the last monster.
