Exit the city to Thalumbra and speak to Elanluelle in Zou'Lidelas.
Return to Maldura and find the following three books in the Alcove of Reason:
- Binding of Power With Metal at
- Setting and Mounting With Magic at
- Dwarven Relics: Myths of Creation at
  - These are small, open books that can appear in a variety of locations on and around the shelves within the Alcove of Reason.
  - Often found along the floor close to the base of the book cases near Brumley.
  - Need to examine them close up - mousing at a distance doesn't help.
Use the ancient notes to plan out a recipe for a method of containing magical gemstones.
- Use an engraved Desk to craft Recipe for a Censer of Containment.
- There is an Engraved Desk next to Brumley.
