Track down a network of assassins across Freeport, Qeynos, Antonica, and Rivervale, then confront Lodo Bightn on the Enchanted Lands beach to earn a serrated bone heritage weapon.

How to start

Speak with Leelav Yekl on the beach in the Enchanted Lands. You must be at least level 35 to start this heroic heritage quest.

Heroic difficulty — multiple named assassin fights across several zones.
Low-level Good characters need The Thieves' Way to reach Freeport; Evil characters need The Down Below to reach Qeynos.

Steps

1. Speak to Kreglebop Yekl
Travel to Freeport and speak with Kreglebop Yekl.
- Good-alignment low-level route: enter The Thieves' Way via manhole in The Commonlands at -1251, -83, 119, then West Freeport via wall-grate at -101, 1, 62.
- Kreglebop Yekl
Zone: The City of Freeport
2. Speak to Lodo Bightn in Qeynos
Find Lodo Bightn in the basement of Irontoes East in North Qeynos. Pass through the curtain behind Bouncer Johbal to access the basement.
- Evil-alignment low-level route: enter The Peat Bog via underwater grate in Antonica at 543.65, -41.60, 471.91, then Vermin's Snye manhole at 581, -33, 507, Down Below grate at 112, -11, -98, and North Qeynos wall-grate at -101, -0.11, -105.
- Lodo Bightn (Irontoes East basement)
Zone: Qeynos Capitol District
3. Kill hired assassins in the Crypt of Betrayal
Kill the hired assassins that spawn as you approach the target location in the Crypt of Betrayal.

4. Investigate Windstalker Village tavern
Head to the tavern at Windstalker Village. As you enter, walk into the corner on your left — the quest updates automatically and you receive A crudely scrawled parchment (examine it for the next step).
- Try dismounting before walking into the tavern if you cannot receive the update.

5. Kill Verishu at Dead River Docks
Kill the assassin Verishu and two enthralled warriors that spawn as you approach the beach end of Dead River Docks.
- If Verishu does not spawn, try jumping through the location given.

6. Kill Ethruia Aj'dora
Kill Ethruia Aj'dora in the back room of the lodge. She and her adds spawn when you approach — the back door of the lodge provides easier access.

7. Confront Lodo Bightn on the beach
Return to the beach in the Enchanted Lands and hail Leelav Yekl. This causes Lodo Bightn and his henchmen to spawn — kill them all.
- If Leelav dies during the skirmish, wait approximately 5 minutes for him to respawn.

8. Hail Leelav Yekl to complete
Hail Leelav Yekl to complete the quest and choose your heritage reward (Serrated Bone Club or Serrated Bone Dirk).
- The heritage quest A Missing Mask continues the story of Leelav and the mask mentioned during this quest.

Tips

This quest spans Freeport, Qeynos, Crypt of Betrayal, Antonica, Thundering Steppes, Rivervale, and Enchanted Lands — plan travel time.
Dismount before entering the Windstalker tavern if the automatic update fails.
Protect Leelav during the final beach fight — if he dies, you must wait ~5 minutes for respawn.
Low-level characters of opposing alignment can use The Thieves' Way (Good → Freeport) or The Down Below (Evil → Qeynos).
