Complete the Hero Bracers heritage timeline by gathering manacle shards across Norrath, reforging them with Eshkan, and defeating droag in the Fabled Sanctum of the Scaleborn and Sothis in the Fabled Halls of Fate.

How to start

Examine the disused manacles and speak with the Eidolon of Heroism to begin. The Eidolon tells you to go back to the beginning.

Notes & prerequisites

Adventure level 103+ required.
Complete Leap of Heroism (A Leap of Heroism) immediately before this quest.
Heroic difficulty — Fabled Sanctum of the Scaleborn and Fabled Halls of Fate.

Steps

1. Kill the minotaur in Steamfont
Head back to Steamfont where you found the original portal and kill the minotaur. He drops a body manacle for each group member.

2. Find manacle shards across Norrath
Find shards of the manacle scattered throughout Norrath. Areas are highlighted on your map and are fairly small.
- Lavastorm (near Solusek's Eye)
- Kunzar Jungle (near Tabernacle of Pain)
- Enchanted Lands (east of Runnyeye)
- Nektulos Forest (lake north of wizard spire)
- Thundering Steppes (crater north of wizard spire)
- Pillars of Flame (top of ramp to water)
- Feerrott (east of Cazic Thule)
- Moors of Ykesha (east of Firmroot Moot)

3. Return to Eshkan for repairs
Return to Eshkan in Cobalt Scar to have the shards reforged. This step takes a minute or so to complete.

4. Speak to the Eidolon of Heroism
Eshkan has reforged the pieces, but they are a manacle no longer. Examine the disused manacles and speak with the now-cryptic Eidolon.

5. Kill 15 droag in Fabled Sanctum of the Scaleborn
Enter The Fabled Sanctum of the Scaleborn and kill 15 ^^^ droag named, stealing their power for your bracers.
- Use the bracer after this step and speak with the Eidolon of Heroism.

6. Kill Sothis in Fabled Halls of Fate
The Eidolon's last words: "We are all fated to die. Some can be reborn. So this goes." Head to The Fabled Halls of Fate and kill Sothis.
- Use the disused manacles and speak with the Eidolon of Heroism to receive The Hero Bracers.

Tips

This is the final quest in the Hero Bracers timeline — rewards class-appropriate Hero Bracers and a house item.
Shard locations are highlighted on your map — all eight zones are in the Shattered Lands.
The Eshkan repair step takes about a minute to complete — wait for the dialog to finish.
Kill all 15 ^^^ droag named in Fabled Sanctum of the Scaleborn before moving to Halls of Fate.
