Adalin Emerael has asked for my help in cleansing certain trees in Oakmyst Forest. He was cleansing them himself when he claims was attacked by a gnoll and was unable to fend off the attack. He says the guards didn't believe him, but he is sure of what attacked him. He has asked that I go and continue his work. He has also asked that I keep my eyes open for any gnolls. If one does appear he has asked that I take its paw as proof for the guards. Should I need to leave Oakmyst Forest, I may return via any mariner bell within the City of Qeynos.
In helping Adalin Emerael cleanse some of the trees in Oakmyst Forest I was attacked by a gnoll. With the gnoll's paw as proof Lieutenant Charlin has agreed that a possible gnoll threat needs to be looked in to.
