An eccentric explorer who may not yet realize he's dead has tasked me with collecting the "essences" of etherveil planeshifters at the pools that run through the middle of Eidolon Jungle. His theories sound ill-supported, and I suspect he was making up words, or at least stringing those he'd once heard into incoherent sentences. But his money is real enough, and I'm curious about these planeshifters myself, so I've agreed to capture several.
Olvin did not present any immediate scientific breakthroughs when he received the samples I'd collected, but he assures me they are forthcoming. I did gain some understanding of the dynamics of plane bending and flight within Ethernere. Perhaps I can utilize this knowledge to move more quickly through the air here.
I need to lure etherveil planeshifters into the traps Olvin provided me. Once the traps have collected their essence, I should collect them and return them to Olvin for analysis.
