Quest text

I have met Sir Bayden Cauldthorn in the Commonlands. He says that he is a Knight of Marr and is attempting to collect many artifacts to help bring about the return of the God of Valor. I offered my assistance to his cause, so I have been tasked with proving myself worthy to an ancient Priest of Marr to retrieve the Spear of the Sentries.

Completion

I have entered the tomb of the long dead Priest of Marr, Celsar Vestagon to retrieve the Spear of the Sentries. I proved to him that I understood and lived by the ways of Valor. In return he entrusted the Spear to me. I have returned it to Sir Bayden in the Commonlands, helping to ensure the swift return of the God of Valor.

Stages

Stage 1(2 objectives)
I must find and enter the tomb of the long dead Priest of Marr, Celsar Vestagon to retrieve the Spear of the Sentries. Sir Bayden said he was buried in the Freeport Graveyard, but he and his Knights could not find the tomb itself. I must find his gravestone and attempt to locate the actual tomb. I can reach the Graveyard by using any of the bells in and around the City of Freeport.

Stage 2

I must prove I understand valor by helping the trapped spirit of a Knight of Truth in the Graveyard. I can reach the Graveyard by using any of the bells in and around the City of Freeport.

Stage 4
I must return to the spirit of Celsar Vestagon in his tomb in the Graveyard. I can reach the Graveyard by using any of the bells in and around the City of Freeport.

Stage 5
I must use my spell of repulsion to clear the bridge under Lucan's Mount in the Commonlands of any animals I may injure with my steps.
- I must walk the bridge under Lucan's Mount using my beetle repulsor to keep from treading upon any poor insects. I should start from the west side and head east.

Stage 6
I must return to the spirit of Celsar Vestagon in his tomb in the Graveyard. I can reach the Graveyard by using any of the bells in and around the City of Freeport.

Stage 7
I must prove that I truly understand death by sacrificing myself upon the altar in Celsar Vestagon's tomb.
