Walkthrough
Use the Stone of Sorrow to investigate the Tree of Blight, gather chalice parts from Velious instances, commune with Firiona Vie, and restore growth for the Blessed Scimitar of the Emerald Dawn heritage reward.
How to start
Talk to Bilvee Hummingwing in Eastern Wastes to begin. Examine the Stone of Sorrow in your inventory to receive directions.

Notes & prerequisites
- Adventure level 93+ required.
- Complete Mourning Tree immediately before this quest.
- You must be able to fly or otherwise access flight-only locations.
- Heroic difficulty — Sabstin V'Despth, instance zones, and Wetrot encounter.
Steps
1. Examine the Stone of Sorrow
Examine the Stone of Sorrow in your inventory to receive your first objective.

2. Investigate soil at the Tree of Blight
Investigate the soil around the roots of the Tree of Blight.
- Gloomvine (93^^^) will attack — you do not need to kill him; the update comes from clicking the soil.

3. Investigate Wuoshi's fate
Examine the Stone of Sorrow again, then go to the Fugutr Tribe Camp in Lesser Faydark, jump in the river above the waterfall, and enter The Emerald Halls: Wuoshi's Fate.

4. Defeat Sabstin V'Despth
Talk to Sabstin V'Despth near the middle of the zone — she will aggro as a 93^^^ named. Kill her 25% adds before continuing or you will end up with all three on you.
- Kill Withered Guardian (94^^^) at 666, 128, -524 and Sawtooth the Corrupted at 783, 88, -600 before engaging V'Despth to prevent them being summoned during the fight.

5. Examine the Bloom of Growth
Examine the flower just below where Sabstin V'Despth was standing.

6. Find Firiona Vie
Examine the Stone of Sorrow — it directs you to Firiona Vie. Her location depends on your alignment.
- Firiona Vie (good — Fae Royal Hall, Greater Faydark)
- Firiona Vie (evil — Shadow Oak, Darklight Wood)

7. Gather chalice part from Iceshard Keep
Search amongst the treasure within Iceshard Keep. Zone via Outer Kael, then Iceshard Keep. The shiny is in the treasure room on the right side of the main building.
- Alternate shiny locations: -438, 118, 426 or -489, 120, 397.
- Chalice gathering must be done individually — no group updates.

8. Gather chalice part from Forgotten Pools
Search under a bough within Forgotten Pools. Zone in at the Great Divide entrance, then find the shiny in the red/blue tree room towards the back.
- Alternate shiny locations: -26, 39, -470 or -21, 42, -527.

9. Gather chalice part from Crystal Caverns: Collapse
Find the chalice piece next to the alchemy table with colored potions. Can be done solo if sneaky enough.

10. Return to Firiona Vie
Return to Firiona Vie with all three chalice parts.

11. Gather earth from Heartwood Master's burial site
Climb the rocks at -735, -22, -267 to reach the memorial burial site of the Heartwood Master.

12. Gather air from wisps in Tenebrous Tangle
Fly through 10 green shiny wisps floating above tiny islands surrounding the larger islands. They are not visible until you get very close.
- There are multiple wisps on some islands.

13. Return to Firiona Vie
Return to Firiona Vie with the earth and air elements.

14. Use the Druid's Divining Rod at the Tree of Blight
Use the Druid's Divining Rod at the Tree of Blight. A 92^^^ Wetrot will spawn and drop a non-trade item.
- Wetrot is easily soloable. The drop seems to update the group.

15. Speak to the Stone of Sorrow
Examine and speak to the Stone of Sorrow.

16. Return to Firiona Vie for your reward
Return to Firiona Vie to receive the Blessed Scimitar of the Emerald Dawn and Stone of Sorrow house item.

Tips
- Chalice part gathering from instances must be done individually — no group updates.
- Kill Withered Guardian and Sawtooth the Corrupted before engaging Sabstin V'Despth.
- Firiona Vie's location depends on alignment — good players go to Greater Faydark, evil to Darklight Wood.
- Tenebrous Tangle wisps are only on tiny surrounding islands and invisible until you fly close.

Quest Text
Bilvee Hummingwing, a fae concerned with the disease and destruction of the Wakening Lands in Eastern Wastes, returned to me the Stone of Sorrow. Apparently, it has been revealing more words for me.
Completion
Firiona Vie was so thankful for all of my help in caring for the Seed of Growth that she cleansed the Scimitar of the Emerald Dawn using the Tears of Growth!
